A fiberglass welding blanket offers excellent high-temperature resistance, thermal insulation, and oxidation protection. The fabric can be used to create welding blankets with protection against spatter, sparks, and heat treatment.

Temperature Range Material State & Performance Key Characteristics & Function
Ultra-Low Temperature (-70°C to Room Temp) Physically stable, remains flexible. Excellent cold resistance, ensuring it can be unfolded and used normally in cold
environments.
Normal Use (Room Temp ~ 900°C) Optimal working range. Fiber structure is stable, strength remains intact. Outstanding long-term heat resistance. Effectively cuts off oxygen and blocks heat transfer. This is the primary stage for extinguishing common fires like cooking oil pans and electrical
equipment.
High-Temperature Limit (900°C ~ 1450°C) Can withstand briefly. Can operate stably at 1000°C, and endure for about 10 minutes at 1450°C. Crucial fire resistance and survivability. Can handle extreme fire situations like thermal runaway of new energy vehicle batteries (instantaneous temperatures can reach nearly 900°C) or small-scale metal melting, buying time for escape
or professional rescue.
Near Softening Point (Approx. 1700°C) Material begins to soften, but does not burn. Exceptionally high melting point ensures material integrity even under extreme conditions,
preventing disintegration.

The core material is high-silica glass fiber fabric, primarily using plain or satin weave structures.

Binders: No Bindersin high silica fiberglass fire blankets

Organic Components: The main body of the fire blanket is inorganic fiber and usually contains no organic components
